Indian Supreme Court supports the rights of unmarried couples to live together. This was revealed when the judge held a case of an actress is accused of destroying young minds because it promotes premarital sex life.

News agency Press Trust of India reported, a panel of three judges in New Delhi, Tuesday (23/3/2010), said, even the Hindu gods, Krishna and Radha are lovers who live together (without marriage) . "When two adults want to live together, what offense?" said the judges. "Living together is not a violation. Living with a right to live."

An Indian actress, Khusboo, which was only used one name, appealed to the court to cancel more than 20 cases that happened in 2005 after he allegedly commented immoral in an interview in the magazine. He commented in a publication, "No educated man who expects to virgin bride." His comments sparked outrage in southern India, where Khusboo became a movie star in the Tamil-language film.

"We were not disturbed. Because it was more a personal view," said the judge. The judge challenged the lawyers of the complainant to give evidence about the girls who ran away from his family with a lover in response to the actress's comments.

Marriage remains a central focus of many families in India. Marriage is celebrated in grand style, and many households still consists of a large family that includes grandparents, parents, children, and their relatives.
