A villager in India using a hammer and chisel for 14 years to create a tunnel through the rock so that he can park his truck in front of his house.
"I can park my truck near my house because the mountain is blocking my way," said Ramchandra Das (53), who lived in the Hollywood district, Bihar state, eastern India.
Das says, fears the thief made off with his truck would encourage him to make a tunnel to be alone after authorities refused to help him.
"I used to have to leave my truck a few miles away, so I decided to do something to save it, alone," Das said by telephone.
Local villagers, who have to travel a few miles around the mountain, using 4.2-meter-wide tunnel to reach their lands, and praised for his work Das.
"We rarely meet someone who can work so hard that it could fulfill his desire," said Prabhat Kumar Jha, a local government official
